“ I was born and raised in Hong Kong, and later moved to Canada to complete my bachelor’s degree in psychology from UBC. I started my career in funeral services, working in assistance to funeral directors for service arrangements and Cantonese/Mandarin interpretation for families in grief. I also worked in community outreach, providing wellness and emotional support to isolated seniors in Vancouver’s Chinatown and Burnaby’s Metrotown area.

Since 2016, I completed my Master in Counselling Psychology degree at Adler University, and became a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), continuing to support people in distress through psychotherapy. For my professional interest and passion towards the topic of grief and loss, I also completed a doctoral degree in grief counselling from American International Theism University.
